What the hell is going on this time very confused?

Theres is this guy i was seeing 3 years ago on a casual basis i guess because at the time the issue of me been the older one and having two kids kinda frightened him! So I called it a day as I couldn't see the point in persuing it any further! Very seldom we would socialise in the same place but if we did he would look for my attention and wouldn't like to see me with anybody else! So one day going back over two weeks ago he saw me as he was working in my area and he text that night and said that im still looking great and he'd love to meet up for a chat sometime! After a couple of days we met up and of course we kissed and the buzz is still there after 3 years! But every night since he saw me he texts me straight after work up until he goes to bed at night which he never did before maybe because at the time i wreaked his head with texts but now i never text him at all and he is the one thats doing so and when he went out with his friends he kept calling me eventhough i wouldn't answer and then texts me saying that he cannot get me out of his head! Monday night we met up again and we ended up together because i think the pion got too much to handle and still every night without fail he will text me! Im confused because it seems to be a bit different than before because he's doing all the running this time! I asked him last nite in a text is it going to be the same crap as before because he had issues and he just said i am not going to do anything bad to you! Hes not a man to say how he feels but im kinda the type that says things straight out! I just hope he's not back in the scene until something better comes along i do like him but afraid to like him alot this time if you know what i mean!
