Asking a guy to Sadie's?

I know its early to be thinking about sadie's but last year I had no idea what to do and I was lucky that the guy I asked said yes. Anyways, I want to ask the same guy I went to Sadie's with last year to go with me this year. I had wrote him a poem because I knew he liked poems so that fit my skill and it was easy to do. Presenting seemed the hardest. We're really close and we know each other pretty well but, I have no idea what to do this year? And I don't want to write him another poem. So I wanted something new and creative way to ask him. I have a couple ideas but I'm not to confident with them. If all else fails I'll probably just ask him straight forward but, I kind of want a cute way to ask him.
