Any california coast ppl see or experience any effect of japan quake?

it is 9:35 am in california as i write this. local new is covering the water being sucked away from the shore as is known to happen with tsunamis. the experts are saying we might see some waves over the next few hours but they aren't expecting anything like the news showed of japan
