I have this HUGE thing for this guy in my homeroom. But he has a gf already. Him and his gf are on and off so how can i get his "fling" out of the picture and me in it?

EEOC Mediation regarding racial harment..what to ask for?

I was employed by a non-profit in Texas for almost a year. During this time, on SEVERAL occasions, I was told by my employer all sorts of snide racial remarks. He even used a racially derogatory term once. I have two witnesses to a few of the occurences. I told him it wasn't funny, yet it continued. Even after apologizing once, he said something ELSE using a horrible term for Hispanics the following week. He also had magazines of naked women sent to the office and once I was told to do some work in his office. When I went in, there was a magazine sitting right there at the edge of a desk. Very inappropriate. He made racial remarks about my toddler son as well. I actually cried in the copy room once over his remarks. He even REPEATED the remarks to my direct supervisor. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and quit. My former employer has agreed to mediation and I figure it couldn't hurt to go. I really dont want my job back but I dont know what to ask for as far as monetary amounts go.

Alright. I have been beating myself up over this for the past couple months because I dont know what to do. Earlier this year, I met a guy through a friend and we started talking and eventually dated. Everything was perfect and we used to joke about how stupid it was for other couples to fight all the time over the stupidest things (we never fought). Until about 2 months into our relationship. We fought about anything and everything. I discovered a whole new side to him. He is jealous and needy. He was also a complete jerk to me. Soo I would get mad and be a complete jerk back. Finally I broke up with him. He cried for 5 days straight. He loves me so much and I know he does which is why he is like this. We are still broken up and its been about 2 months. But we talk and hang out and kiss and do everything the same as when we were dating. I love him and I care about him more than anything and yet I dont want to be with him cuz I am sick of all the bitching and complaining he does to me every night about how i am not making him happy enough and that I need to start doing stuff for him. Today I told him I just wanted to be friends. But I still love him and i know he still wants to be with me. Gahhh...i just don't know what to do. I need some enlightenment pleasee?? =]
